We have submitted a planning application to Essex County Council in February 2021. The planning application included various assessments such as:

• Traffic and transport
• Ecology
• Landscape and visual impact

• Economic benefits
• Air quality
• Noise and odour

We would expect a decision on the planning application from Essex County Council this year. If we are successful, the Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) would take up to two years to build.
